When necessary, medical follow-up is one of the pillars of the MetaClinic intervention.

- Menopause
- Polycystic ovary syndrome
- Amenorrhea

- Recovery of the hypothalamic-gonadal axis
An integrated approach that combines specialized medical intervention with dietary re-education for effective, healthy and permanent weight loss.
It is based on a prior hormonal, metabolic and lifestyle diagnosis to assess the appropriate therapy, and on ongoing monitoring throughout the weight loss process.
The program is divided into three phases:
- Phase 1 – Diagnosis and initiation of treatment
Clinical analysis prior to the endocrinology consultation, where the therapeutic strategy will be defined, which may or may not resort to medication. An exhaustive assessment of body composition by anthropometry and densitometry will also be carried out, as well as a nutrition consultation with the aim of ensuring the success of the therapy and solidifying habits that will later allow the weight lost to be maintained.
- Phase 2 - Monitoring
Weekly feedback on progress and a second nutrition consultation 6 weeks after the start of the program.
- Phase 3 - Re-evaluation
New consultation with endocrinologist after 12 weeks of treatment, re-assessment of body composition and weight to measure results, and consultation with nutritionist.
Eligibility criteria for consultation:
- Obesity, with a Body Mass Index (BMI) >30, or BMI >27 with risk factors (diabetes, high cholesterol, hypertension.
